2025
Early in 2025, the UK Government opened a consultation on a new strategy for land use management in England, which aimed to open up opportunities for new development, alongside other policy commitments such including nature restoration and food security. A multi-disciplinary team from LCNR co-produced a response which suggests changes to the proposal that would improve outcomes for nature as well as supporting health, food, agriculture and net-zero carbon targets.
