With opening remarks by Ambassador Antonio Patriota, the event will bring together researchers, policymakers, and representatives from civil society to discuss the role of forest conservation in the climate agenda. The discussion will move from science to implementation, beginning with the role of tropical forests and the threats facing these vital ecosystems.
